Perhaps it’s been a while since you uploaded content to Shutterstock and you’ve forgotten your password. Or maybe you don’t even remember where to go to access your Shutterstock Contributor account. Search no more, I’m here to help.
Go to Shutterstock Contributor Login Page
There are two login pages at Shutterstock; one for the Contributor and one for the Customer. As a Contributor, make sure you go to submit.shutterstock.com
To purchase a license in order to use Shutterstock content, you need to sign into your Customer account at Shutterstock.com
If you know your email address but not your password, you will need to reset your password. Do this by clicking “Forgot your password” underneath the red Sign In button.
A reset link will be sent to the email you provided. Go to your inbox and look for the email. Sometimes the email will arrive immediately, or it could take a few minutes.
When you get the email, follow the instructions to reset your password and voilà! You’re all set. Be sure to have your browser save the updated password AND make a note of the new password for your records. I personally love the iPassword app.
The Reset Email Never Arrived
If the email never arrived, try the following:
- Check your spam folder.
- Wait 30 minutes.
- Try requesting the password reset email again, double checking that the email you enter is correct (perhaps you put .con instead of .com)
- Ensure Cookies are turned ON.
- Download the latest version of the browser you are using
What to Do if You Can’t Remember Your Email Address
If you cannot remember the email address associated with your Shutterstock Contributor account, don’t panic. Send an email to submit@shutterstock.com and they’ll be able to help you out.
Hi Shutterstock, I can’t sign into my contributor account, in spite of correct e-mail and password, Shutterstock asks me if I want to sign into my Contributor account but does not provide a field to click on. Can you please help?
Hi Lynn,
Here are some things to try:
Reset your password
Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc)
Clear your cache and cookies
Try logging in on your mobile phone and change your password from there, then try logging in on your desktop
If none of these things work, you’ll need to email submit@shutterstock.com.
Good luck!
